Which Tesla Model 3 Highland Paint Shop Template Should You Use?

Tesla does not publish one Model 3 body map for every year. Its repository separates legacy Model 3, 2024+ Standard and Premium, and 2024+ Performance. That directory structure is the strongest fit signal: when Tesla provides a separate body template, do not assume the files are interchangeable.

Tesla's current owner manual distinguishes the newer Model 3 as 2024+, and the template repository uses the same year label instead of Highland in its directory names. Highland is useful search language, but it is not specific enough to choose between the two 2024+ body maps.

Confirm the complete variant in the vehicle information, order details, or Tesla app. A purchase date alone can be misleading because inventory, regional labels, and delivery timing do not always align with the template label.

Our editorial check uses three Model 3 landmarks: the front fender-to-door seam, the gap between the doors, and the rear door-to-quarter-panel seam. After selecting the official directory, orbit the 3D vehicle and confirm those boundaries before judging the artwork.

Long stripes and color bands along the Model 3 side make small shifts easy to spot. If the blank file from the same directory aligns but the designed version jumps at one seam, inspect the export for cropping, resizing, or moved layers before changing vehicle directories.

Keep the official blank PNG untouched. On a copy, add one thin guide across the side without changing the canvas or transparent regions, then inspect it at the front door, rear door, and rear quarter. A simple line reveals the exact seam where alignment begins to drift more clearly than finished artwork.

Replace the guide with the final design only after it stays continuous. Keep the vehicle variant and canvas fixed, then correct one visible position per export so composition changes do not get confused with file-processing errors.
