Find and download Tesla Paint Shop templates

Open the model template library and check the full model, model year and variant. Highland and Juniper can help identify model refreshes, but Standard, Premium and Performance may use different layouts. Official resources include blank templates and example designs; the community library shows digital designs published by users. Paint Shop changes the appearance of the 3D vehicle model on the touchscreen.

Sign in to download official or community templates. Free templates and your own published templates cost no download credits. Before downloading another creator’s paid template for the first time, check the credit cost on its detail page and confirm you have enough available download credits. If the account or cost changes, refresh and confirm again. If your balance is too low, check the purchase options currently available. After buying, check the available download credits in your account. A paid template’s watermarked preview is not for importing into your car. Use the download button to get the original PNG instead of taking a screenshot.

Look in the download history under My Templates. If a template is already in your download history and is still available, downloading it again with the same account costs no additional download credits. If you’re unsure whether the last download completed, check the history first, then retry the same template with the same account. Open your own templates from your template list; these downloads do not create download history entries. If a template is taken down, you may no longer be able to get the file. Keep a copy of the PNG, then follow the Tesla app or USB guide to transfer it and select the design on your touchscreen.
