Download a Tesla Paint Shop template

Choose the right vehicle version, check the credit price and save the PNG you can upload to your Tesla.

Choose the vehicle before the design

Open the model library and match the full model, year range and trim. Model 3 Highland and Model Y Juniper are useful names, but Standard, Premium and Performance may use different templates. The official library provides blank templates for editing; community designs are ready-made artwork. Paint Shop changes the vehicle visualization on the touchscreen, not the paint or vinyl on the physical car.

Check the price, then download

Sign in before downloading community templates. A free template costs no credits. For a paid template, check the credit price on its page before confirming the download. The service checks your current balance when processing it. If the balance is insufficient, choose a permanent credit pack or membership, then return to the template. A preview image is not the downloadable original; use the download button rather than saving a screenshot.

Find the file again

Open your download history under My Templates to find previous downloads. Downloading the same available template again with the same account does not charge credits again. This does not guarantee permanent availability: a removed template may no longer be downloadable. Keep your own copy of the PNG. Next, follow the Tesla app or USB guide to transfer and apply it.

FAQ

Does a membership include unlimited downloads?

No. Paid downloads use the number of credits shown on each template. Memberships issue a monthly credit allowance; they do not make every template free.
